Life's going well. I'm still insanely busy with all the same crap as the last entry, but I've managed to make time for old hobbies again. So, here I am! I'll be moving to the city soon (still working on that durn house though), and hopefully then I'll be more able to make more cool stuff for y'all.

Until then, everything is stressful and anxiety sucks. ;u;

I'm sorry for having suddenly dropped off the face of the planet, but I'm going to have to be gone a little while longer.

There are a few reasons for this, one being a combination of the weather (-25 celsius, anyone?) and my [temporary] living situation. Basically it gets below freezing in the room that all my stuff (including me) is in, so I've been spending as little time in there as possible. I don't really have anywhere else to set up my computer at the moment, so it sits there unused.

Another issue is that of work and time. Now that the holidays are done my work is finally starting to slow, but it's still a stressful job. By the time I get home I usually don't want to do much of anything. 

And the third and most prominent reason for my absence - the place I am moving into. Basically, I am renovating an entire house, gutting it back to the bones and starting afresh. Well, I keep finding more and more things wrong with it (after a constantly flooding crawlspace and studs on the outer wall that are rotted straight through, it's no wonder I haven't just decided to bulldoze the thing). So my initial time frame of two weeks to a month has already stretched into 5 months, and I'm still just finishing gutting it and repairing the bones. I still need to rewire the entire thing (seriously, who the f--k puts the entire upstairs and half the main floor on one breaker?! And why are NONE of the lightswitches beside doors? and if they are beside a door, why aren't they in the same room as the light they're for?!), I need to change all the windows and put new sills in, insulate, refloor, drywall, re-grade the lawn, put up eaves troughs, pull down a couple ceilings and re-drywall those, completely redo the bathroom (the toilet froze open and the sink is leaky and has rotted the wall behind it yaaaay, and the tub's backsplash covers the window, and the back door of the house is in the bathroom. Yes, the back door, to go outside, is in my bathroom). That's probably not even half of my list. And I can't work on it because of the weather - you can change a couple windows in -25 because you start freezing, but the wind that accompanies this weather means you shouldn't be changing windows in the first place. 

My list of complaints about how long it's going to take me goes on for a while, so I'll spare you all and stop there. 

TL;DR? Can't go on my computer because too cold. Can't move out of temp living place until I finish renovating my house, which I can't finish, because it's too cold. 

So, basically, I won't be around much for a few more months. I'm truly, very sorry to everyone I was helping - whether I owe you art, an oto, whatever - I sincerely apologize. I have a couple things in the work I've been plugging away at slowly, an hour or so at a time once every week or two, but those could even be months before I have anything post worthy.

UST is Clarity by Sparky Sparks

Hello! First off, yes I'm not dead. I took a hiatus for about a year or so but I'm back now, hoping to get a few things done!

Today I had an error in UTAU that I've never seen before - when I tried to render, I got a "Path not found" error. Despite my best googling, I couldn't find out what was wrong. As it turns out, this is a general error message for many things. All of the pertain to incorrect file paths. So if you're getting the "Path not Found" error, please try some of the following!

Voice bank: try switching to a different voicebank just to see if another one works. If a different voicebank works but not the one you want, then it's a problem with the voicebank you want to use. Go to the project properties window (Project -> Project property) and make sure the voicebank you want to use is selected, and make sure it's in the correct file. If you have moved it to a new file, Go to tools -> options -> Bank Regist., and re-register the bank.

UST: First off, make sure it's not in a .rar or .zip file! If it is, please unzip the file. If that's not the problem, try re-opening the UST. If that doesn't work, save it under a new file name and try again. 

Resampler: Select all of the notes in the UST, right click, and select "Clear Cache". Open the Project Properties window (Project -> Project Property) and in the bottom blank, make sure you have a working resampler selected. If the one you want to use won't work, try switching it to another. If anything else in this window is highlighted red, select the field and rectify the situation.

These are probably the main three things that can cause this problem, but if you fix these and it still isn't working please let me know, and I will try to help! 

Hullo all! I'm not dead, although I have been terribly inactive.

I'll be attending Anime North once again this year, so keep an eye out for me! If any of you are going, I'd love to run into you! ^o^ 

I'll be cosplaying Kakuzu from Naruto (made from duct tape, the verison without cloak/hood) and I'll have a Hidan with me (also duct tape).
On Saturday I'll be Lin Beifong from Legend of Korra, and I will have a Commander Bumi and a Sokka with me. 
On Sunday I'll be cosplaying - entirely from duct tape - Meiko's V3. (I will also be at the sat. evening Vocaloid photoshoot as this).
At some point I may also be in a gachapin kigu (probably to the raves)

So far I have none of these done and the convention is in a week. @___@ Wish me luck!
